a strange winter night...

"the (red)apple tree"
acrylic on panel

it seems impossible but it isn't
apples turn red on the tree and flowers sprout
from the frosty ground, it's a strange night,
and the strange things of love

a painting for a friend (thinking about to Alice in wonderland)

I did a painting for a friend...
No, for two friends that will become three soon!
It's a painting for Alice, to say the true, though I don't know her yet.
But I know that she will be a piece of P. and a piece of F. and I hope
that this painting in her room could help her to fly with the fancy,
during the day or in the night, when the little creatures on the tree
will come out from the drawing and they will dance gently over
her cot and into her dreams.......

..and Alice could climb on the branches of this magic tree and over
its top, and more, until she will grow up.

Or, if she will wish it, for all her life!
