so tiny thing

 

"so tiny thing" one of the first postcards

in the serie, a fragment from "Glimpses",

one of the remembrance of the woods,

this tiny plant who grow in the fresh

shadow of the trees. 

 

The original artwork, a mixture of pencil,

watercolour and acrylic white on grey

heavy cardboard —still visible in its

 

texture here and there.

"Glimpses" original artworks still with me,

the whole of them, togather with sketches

and the artworks which remained aside,

hidden...

Glimpses

is something caught from the corner

of the eyes. Something that remains...

A memory of the wood, not just a wood

but different woods, the woods where

I usually go for a walk and every woods.

 

It is that very moment in which you stop,

motionless, looking at the rustle, every

sense sharpened in endless seconds,

waiting for something to happen.

Something maybe will appear,

or will not, not at the eyes.

And sometimes you come in touch with

that "something" in a kind of auditive way,

not less intense than sight, and something

magic is stuck in your memory, forever...

across the sea, and the ocean...

and so... the hard work for the book is gone

and now I'm ready to come back to my own artworks 

for the next edition of Kunst Supermarkt

In the meantime few pieces of me went across the sea

(and even the ocean) for their new life in a new home!

Others have had only a little travel to do

and now are happily nested in good company,

with the precious and careful hand of Milonga (Milano)

coming back to the drawings, putting pieces together,

and resuming the feelings I felt in that very moment,

that was - that is - as something without time...

and trying to find 'an expression for the inexpressible'

sketches, feelings, lichen

some kind of faint images and deep memories together

the print-test is on its way, we are really very very close to

the second leporello, in paper and ink!
